Blogging Norfolk

A digital map for a digital age

Thursday 23rd April 2009, BBC Fusion, The Forum, Norwich, 10:00am – 5:30pm

Thanks to everyone who got involved prior to, and on the day with Blogging Norfolk. Contributions are still welcome – up until 6th May 2009 – so visit our interactive map and read on below for further information on how to get involved.

Writers’ Centre Norwich and BBC Norfolk are asking the people of Norfolk to send over digital records of their day to add to a unique interactive map that will be available for the whole world to see.

Blogging Norfolk is about getting involved and sharing your thoughts about your county in an interesting and interactive way. Using digital tools such as blogging, email, Twitter and Flickr, we want your help to create a digital snapshot of the people and the region, that will stand as a reminder of the rich and interesting place we all share.

How to get involved:

On Blogging Norfolk Day you are invited to use a variety of social media to express your thoughts and feelings about the county from home, work or by visiting BBC Fusion to contribute ‘live’ in person. These contributions will then be placed on a digital map of the region, displayed at www.bbc.co.uk/norfolk and on the giant HD screen at BBC Fusion.

For further information and help with using social tools such as blogging, Twitter and Flickr, visit the Blogging Norfolk description page.
