FREE Writing Workshops

**UPDATE**

We commissioned each of our writers to compose a piece in response to their Art Alive experience. You can find them here on our blog.

Various Locations, 23rd – 25th May 2009, 10am – 4pm

We have commissioned three writers to work on a variety of prose and poetry exercises and workshops in beautiful Norfolk churches as part of the Art Alive project, where 25 of the most historic churches across Norfolk will be opening their doors throughout the bank holiday weekend. All experience levels are welcome and there is no need to book for anything – just turn up, tune in, and have fun.

CAROLINE GILFILLAN will be at ST MARY’S, EAST RUSTON, a 14th century church with its unspoilt contemporary paintings of the evangelists.

SARAH BOWER will be at ST MARK’S, TEN MILE BANK which has been subject to an amazing restoration project.

MOLLY NAYLOR will be at ST MARY’S IN HAPPISURGH. St Mary’s tower is 110ft high, and will offer excellent inspiration for those without a fear for heights!

The general programme in each church is as follows:

Sat 23rd:

Adult’s workshop 2:00pm

Sunday 24th:
