Refugee Week – Asylum Dialogues
Tuesday 16th June, Norwich Playhouse, 7:30pm
“Enlightening, amazing, heart-wrenching, exactly the kind of truth that should be presented on the British stage today.”
Audience comment on Asylum Dialogues
Join us at the Norwich Playhouse on Tuesday 16th June for a performance of the documentary play Asylum Dialogues, highlighting the many acts of solidarity shown by British people towards refugees living alongside them.
Performed by iceandfire theatre, the play is drawn from real life conversations with three couples – with each relationship comprising a British citizen and a person seeking sanctuary here – and explores the positive transformations created by their encounters with each other. The show is performed by Actors for Human Rights, iceandfire’s network of professional actors dedicated to drawing public attention to contemporary human rights concerns.
