Here's the latest update from Well Versed - a year-long pilot that aims to transform and champion young people’s experience of learning poetry in schools - as writers, performers and readers.
If you haven't had the chance to read poet Helen Ivory’s report on the Well Versed sessions at Northgate High School, then we highly recommend that you do. It's great to hear from all of the participants involved in the scheme.
Speaking of which, pop along to the Well Versed blog and enjoy the thoughts of Kira Haslam, a committed and enthusiastic English teacher whose Well Versed sessions ran over an intensive two days, culminating in a showcase which was filmed by WCN. We'll post the film here shortly, but in the meantime you can see photos of the sessions and showcase on the Northgate High School website.

Students admire work from the Well Versed showcase at Northgate High School, Dereham.
