Unlimited

Here are details for the Unlimited commissioning program. For further information see the Arts Council Website.

London 2012, the UK Arts Councils and the British Council want to commission high quality, ambitious work by disabled and Deaf artists that can be experienced by a broad range of audiences in a wide range of spaces, to help celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The finale of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad will be a 12-week cultural celebration across the whole of the UK (21 June - 9 September 2012). This once-in-a-lifetime festival will bring together leading artists from all over the world. At the beginning of 2012 and in the early months of the year, a series of festival ‘trailblazers’ will provide spectacular markers of what is to come.

We are encouraging disabled and Deaf artists to push beyond their personal best alongside Paralympic athletes, by creating work which opens doors, changes minds, and inspires new collaborations. Artists can apply up to £50,000 for more information and guidelines see The Arts Council site or contact Parminder Dosanjh Relationship Manager Diversity in Arts Practice East  parminder dot dosanjh AT artscouncil dot org dot uk

Application Deadline 18th April 2011.
