About the workshop
Henry will use the weekend to get your fiction writing up to scratch.
Over the weekend you and your fellow writers will share each others work. You will engage in stimulating debate exploring theme, pitch, genre and form. There will be exercises to explore and improve your novel and in-depth discussion about literary technique.
This workshop presents a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with a cohort of talented writers from the region. It is open to those with literary fiction, or well written commercial novel drafts well underway, looking for professional feedback.
About the tutor

Henry Sutton knows a great deal about good writing: he has written seven novels; taught creative writing at the UEA at both undergraduate and MA level for a number of years; is the books editor of the
Daily Mirror; has worked as a literary journalist and reviewer for most of the national broadsheets. Henry is currently working on his eighth novel,
My Criminal Mind.

Level: Those with literary fiction, genre (young adult, speculative fiction etc), or well written commercial novel drafts well underway, looking for professional feedback from UEA tutor and literary consultant Henry Sutton and from a group of peers.
Not suitable for those with early stage first novels or those new to the workshop environment.
About the Venue
This workshop will take place in the workshop room situated on the ground floor of the Writers’ Centre Norwich office, on 14 Princes Street.
The room provides an ideal environment for creative thinking and learning with plenty of space and natural light.
