Are you ready to take your writing to the next level, but are unsure how? Could you benefit from one-to-one guidance and advice from an accredited writing coach and published writer?
Heidi Williamson and Katherine Skala are successful writers, editors and accredited coaches who understand the difficulties of developing as an artist and have the tools to help you. Their coaching packages take place on a 1:1 basis and are flexible to your needs – whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced writer with spare time during the weekdays, evenings or weekends.
All coaching sessions take place at Writers' Centre Norwich, Dragon Hall.
'The great thing about coaching is that it's very pressure-free...It draws your mind along new paths and gets you excited about fresh ideas.' - BD, Novelist
Coaching sessions offer simple steps to help you personally develop as an artist and overcome stumbling blocks in your writing journey. Your coach will be able to help you with any practical issues, including:
- Identifying short and long term writing goals
- Trying to get published
- Approaching an agent
- Tackling your fears and developing confidence
- Overcoming creative blocks
- Time management and prioritising your writing among other commitments.
All writers face common issues, meaning that these sessions are suitable for writers of any genre – just bring along an idea of what you’d like to discuss.
Please note – coaching sessions do not include editorial feedback on your work. See Mentoring (below) for a longer term package of coaching and feedback on your writing.
