UEA Live: In Memory of Rebecca McManus

23 March 2017
WCN, Dragon Hall
Doors open 6.30pm (c. 2 hours)

Join us for a very special UEA Live, which celebrates the life and work of Rebecca McManus. Rebecca was an undergraduate student of Literature and Creative Writing at UEA when, in 2014, she was killed in road accident a few weeks before graduation. She was a superbly gifted poet and this event will mark the publication of a collection of her work by Unthank Books. There will be readings by Rebecca’s friends, her tutors and by current students at UEA.

Free entry - just turn up on the night. All welcome.

UEA Live

For the past three years WCN has co-organised, hosted and promoted UEA Live. This free public literature event provides the opportunity for UEA students to read their work to a live audience alongside established writers. It takes place every month at WCN Dragon Hall and routinely attracts upwards of 100 guests including UEA students, staff and the wider public.
