Description
Each year our Worlds Literature Festival goes from strength to strength, and we’re looking forward to kicking off this year’s event with three exciting world talents:
Neel Mukherjee, whose debut novel A Life Apart “blends the poignancy of a coming-of-age story with the rawer excitements of an urban thriller laced with sex and violence” (Telegraph); Henrietta Rose-Innes, who on winning the Caine prize was described as “a sharp talent” with “a rare maturity and a poetic intelligence” and Kate Kilalea, “a delight to read” (Poetry Review) whose first collection of poetry One Eye’d Leigh was short listed for the 2009 Costa Book Awards.
Come along and help us to celebrate what will be a week long feast of literature talent.
Tickets: £5 on the door, book online or call 01603 508050
