Want to beat your own poetic pathway? Attend this workshop and let loose forms of poetry that will take your work to new, unexplored places.
Description
‘…all we can ask for in poetry: contemplation, intelligence, stylistic beauty.’– Alan Warner, Scotsman
Led by the award winning Bloodaxe poet, Roddy Lumsden, a core tutor for the Poetry School, you can develop ideas, acquire new skills and perhaps become part of a select crowd inspiring with new poetic forms.
The workshop will alternate between discussing poetry and writing time. Roddy, will take you through various inventive and invented forms - especially non-metrical ones – to help inspire you to come up with your own concepts.
Roddy, who has published five books of poetry, most recently Mischief Night - New & Selected Poems (Bloodaxe, 2004) and Third Wish Wasted (Bloodaxe, 2009), is just the person to help you develop your style. Find out how far you can take things by booking today.
