Description

"Preston has an undoubted storyteller's instinct; This Bleeding City is consistently engaging and zips along at a decent crack." The Guardian.

So you’ve finished your novel. This means you’re ready to begin the search for an agent, right? Or perhaps you need a better understanding of the publishing process?

About the Workshop
Join the author of two novels and Culture Show regular Alex Preston for an author’s perspective on getting published; the ins and outs of the industry, and writing life verses real life.

Alex, whose second novel, The Revelations, will be published by Faber in February 2012, will draw from his experience to give you practical tips and exercises to make it happen – from managing your writing schedule and expectations to communicating with agents and publishers.

Book your place and find out what you need to know to make that next daunting step a reality.
