Lavinia Greenlaw's poetry includes
Minsk and
The Casual Perfect. Her other works include two novels and the non-fiction
The Importance of Music to Girls. She has held residencies at the Science Museum and the Royal Society of Medicine. Her work for radio includes programmes about the Arctic, the Baltic, Emily Dickinson and Elizabeth Bishop.
Hannah Lowe was born in Ilford to an English mother and Jamaican-Chinese father. She has lived in Brighton and Santa Cruz, California. She studied American Literature at the University of Sussex. Currently she lives in Brixton and teaches literature at a college in Islington. Her poems have been published widely in magazines and anthologies.
Don Paterson is the author of
Nil Nil,
God's Gift to Women, and
Landing Light, which won both the T. S. Eliot Prize and the Whitbread Prize for Poetry.
Rain, his most recent collection, won the Forward Prize for Best Collection in 2009.
