A six-week programme of lesson plans and resources for new or established creative writing clubs culminating in a Poetry Party. This pack includes teaching guidance on different forms of poetry, including haikus, ballards and performance poetry.

This resource was designed and produced by Mark Grist as part of the Well Versed Poetry in Schools project.

Well Versed - a partnership between teachers, writers and up to 20 schools in Norfolk that developed new ways of teaching poetry and performance in schools. The year-long scheme was one of three pilots being delivered across England, led by education charity Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) and funded by Arts Council England’s Thrive programme.
