Need to sharpen your poetry?

Come join us in these six weekly poetry workshops designed to help your poetry skills progress to the next stage.

This six-week course led by Aldeburgh Poetry Festival founder and TS Eliot Prize shortlisted poet Michael Laskey will give you supportive, succinct feedback on your writing. The workshops will involve combining close-reading of exemplary poems, a variety of exercises to generate new work and supportive rigorous workshopping of your poems.

This will be a great moment to take advantage of a prolonged period of time with Michael, who has been active as a workshop leader for many years. If you’ve had the chance to read his first two collections Thinking of Happiness and The Tightrope Wedding along with the more recent releases Permission to Breathe and The Man Alone: New & Selected Poems, you will realise that this is one not to be missed!

Develop your technique and drive your poetry forward – Michael’s years of experience in the field will help you to sharpen your critical edge.
