Tell your coming out story in 140 CHARACTERS or less

www.twitter.com/OUT140

If you are part of the LGBT community then we are interested in hearing your story. We’re looking for 140 people to tell us their Coming Out Story in 140 characters or less (a “tweet” on Twitter).

The written form has long thrived on restriction, so why not take up the challenge and see how creatively you can tell your tale. Given that this is not a simple challenge, you might want the advantage of a handy guide written for us by writer Ross Sutherland: Writing a true story in 140 characters or less.

Everyone has a different story about Coming Out, and Writers’ Centre Norwich and Norwich Pride are interested in discovering what it was like for you.

Tweet your tale at: www.twitter.com/OUT140, text on 07786351214 or email: shell@shellytelly.co.uk

140 stories will be displayed in an interactive show at FUSION in the Forum from 11-25 January 2010.
