Writers' Centre Norwich is a registered charity. Our charity number is 1110725.

We believe writing has the power to change lives. We support readers and writers by working in schools across the county, nurturing the next generation of writers and inspiring communities through world-class events in the city and further afield.

As a UK registered charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to make our work possible. Please consider making a gift to ensure that the life-changing power of creative writing, books and reading continues to influence and inspire generations to come.

You can make a donation using the box below or via our JustGiving page . Thank you so much for your support.

A £10 donation would - enable us to offer a bursary place at an event to a low income/student writer

A £20 donation would - pay for the resources/workshop packs for a creative writing workshop in a school

A £100 donation would - support our work in bringing writers into schools to inspire the next generation of book lovers and writers

National Centre Campaign

Writers’ Centre Norwich plans to open a National Centre for Writing at Dragon Hall, Norwich to open early 2018. This will be a major new cultural venue for the city and the country and a physical representation of Norwich’s UNESCO City of Literature status. Find out more.

We run an internship programme with our partners the University of East Anglia to provide experience to students in the fields of arts programming and communications. In addition, we occasionally look for volunteers to support our work. Opportunities will be posted as they become available here.
